Since animals always win when desserts are vegan, everyone who
enters wins a prize!

- Best Veganization of a Classic Dessert
- Best Named Dessert
- And more -- just enter your dessert and find out what makes

The Rules:
- All entries must be vegan (that is, contain no animal
products
including meat, dairy, eggs, or honey).
- Bring enough to share (a regular size batch is fine).
- Any type of dessert item is fine (cookies, cupcakes,
brownies,
ice cream, doughnuts, raw, etc.). If it requires a serving utensil,
please
bring one.
- If financially able, the use of organic and fair-trade
ingredients is strongly encouraged.
- One dessert per entrant. Just bring your best!

Pittsburgh! The deadline to enter the contest has passed.
We
have 20 entries including peanut
butter banana cookies, nut roll, super delicious chocolate cake,
some-kind-of-berry cheesecake, raw almond creme cherry torte, apple
crisp, gluten-free pie, either green tea cupcakes or pumpkin gobs,
pumpkin roll, apple pie, mom's sweet berry biscuits with lemon
icing, peanut butter dark chocolate bars, Cheryl's carrot ginger cake,
cashew chocolate cookies, chocolate mousse, coconut pecan sugar
cookies, chocolate strawberry cake, and there's some fierce
competition in the cupcake department!
Please come help eat all the desserts!
